EEPEX 2025 to Showcase Creativity and Excellence on January 22-23, 2025
Dhulikhel, Nepal The highly anticipated Electrical and Electronics Project Exhibition (EEPEX) 2025, organized by the Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SEEE) in collaboration with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DoEEE), Kathmandu University, will take place on January 22 and 23 at Kathmandu University's Dhulikhel campus. Marking its 13th year of inception, this year's EEPEX centers around the theme "Engage, Elevate, Execute," highlighting the event's commitment to fostering collaboration, driving technological innovation, and transforming creative ideas into impactful solutions.
The event promises a dynamic mix of activities, with over 40 project stalls showcasing cutting-edge innovations in Electrical, Electronics, ICT, Power, and Energy. The Project Exhibition Competition remains the highlight of EEPEX, offering a platform for students and innovators from across Nepal to present their groundbreaking projects, ranging from smart automation systems to sustainable energy solutions. Adding to the excitement is the Hardware Hackathon, the flagship event of EEPEX, scheduled for January 19 and 20, where participants will tackle real-world challenges through hardware-based innovations.
Robotics enthusiasts can look forward to thrilling competitions such as the Line Following Robot Challenge, Robo Soccer, Aqua Sumo, and Robo Sumo, each showcasing participants' technical ingenuity and problem-solving skills. For gaming enthusiasts, EEPEX 2025 also features engaging eSports tournaments in Valorant, FIFA, and Clash Royale, alongside the electrifying campus-wide treasure hunt, "Watt's the Clue."
A major highlight of EEPEX 2025 will be the Talk Show, featuring renowned experts who will discuss topics at the intersection of engineering, leadership, and the future of technology. The panel includes Er. Bikash Gurung, President of the Robotics Association of Nepal; Mr. Prabal Bhattarai, Project Manager at K&A Engineering Consulting PC; Ms. Minu Pradhan, Former CTO and Director of Nepal Telecom; and Dr. Basanta Gautam, Associate Professor at the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus.
EEPEX 2025 also celebrates the vibrant spirit of the Kathmandu University community through cultural and recreational events such as the Online Music Competition, the All-Nepal Engineers' Chess Competition, and the much-anticipated Acoustic Night, ensuring an engaging experience for all attendees.
