Kalikot, 10 October 2023 - Kalikot district recently played host to an expansive educational conference, a strategic initiative to uplift the educational standards of the region. With representatives from all 9 municipalities in attendance, the event took place in Manm and was orchestrated in partnership with the district education committee and numerous NGOs across the district.

Highlights of the Conference:

  1. Diverse Topics Addressed: Key discussions revolved around the professional development of teachers, promoting inclusive education, fostering creativity in education through art, and refining evaluation methods.
  2. 21st Century Education Model: A crucial segment of the conference delved into Nepal's current educational policy and juxtaposed it with the requirements of a 21st-century educational system.
  3. Insights from Municipalities: Education coordinators from all 9 municipalities shed light on the educational landscapes within their domains.
