Cricksal League Concludes with Thrilling Matches and Victories at CCA
The inaugural Cricksal League at CCA recently concluded amidst great excitement and fierce competition at the Royal Indoor Cricket facility. Spanning three action-packed days from July 12 to July 14, the event brought together students and faculty in a spirited display of cricketing talent. A total of 16 groups, comprising enthusiastic players from across the college. The matches were marked by intense rivalry and skillful gameplay, showcasing the athletic spirit and solidarity within the CCA community. Faculty members joined students on the field, adding a unique dimension to the tournament and fostering a sense of unity across the college.
After a series of gripping matches, the ‘Royal CCA Baneshwor’ emerged victorious, claiming the championship title. Their stellar performance throughout the tournament earned them not only bragging rights but also a substantial prize package. The winners were awarded a cash prize of NPR 15,000 along with a glittering trophy, medals, and certificates, honoring their achievement.
Close to their reinforces, the ‘Super Ten’ put up a commendable fight, securing the runner-up position. Their efforts were recognized with a cash prize of NPR 10,000 along with medals, and certificates, acknowledging their outstanding performance in the league.
Pranav Jha's exceptional skills and contributions did not go unnoticed as he was honored with the prestigious title of Player of the Tournament. In addition to the acclaim, Pranav received a cash prize of NPR 5,000, highlighting his standout performance on the cricket field.
The success of the Cricksal League would not have been possible without the enthusiastic participation of all the teams, the supportive audience, and the dedicated efforts of the umpires who ensured fair play throughout. Umpires were also recognized with certificates for their crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the matches.
