Laxmi Aawashiya Secondary School, located in Pokhara's New Road, recently completed its 36th anniversary with a grand celebration. The ceremony was inaugurated by Mathura Prasad Poudel, President of Pabson Kaski, who praised the contributions made by private schools to the development of the education sector. He also emphasized the importance of parents' role in promoting practical and cultural education among students.
Former District Education Officer Nagendraraj Paudel, who has closely observed the school's activities since its inception, praised the practical education provided by the school. Shalikram Adhikari, the school principal, provided updates on the current activities of the school as well as the upcoming programs.
The ceremony was attended by former teacher Rama Poudel, Dr. Niva Amatya on behalf of the parents, and Chartered Accountant and Managing Director of Prism Education Foundation Amit Thapa, who all spoke about the school's achievements. The program was presided over by Leelawati Pradhan, the founder director of the school, while founding member Mitralal Paudel gave a vote of thanks. The program was conducted by Navraj Adhikari, co-principal, and program coordinator of the school.
The academic and extracurricular achievements of the students during the academic session 2021/2022 were recognized and awarded at the ceremony. The event also featured various cultural performances by the students, adding to the festivities of the occasion.
