Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has extended congratulations and best wishes to all the civil servants on the occasion of the Civil Service Day being celebrated this year under the slogan 'Professional and Creative Administration: Development, Prosperity and Good Governance'.

The civil service is an important mechanism of the state as it is, directly and indirectly, involved in the effective distribution of goods and services provided by the government to the people as well as in the formulation and implementation of public policy.

The civil service also plays an important role in translating the values, beliefs, and commitments made by the government to the people in practice and in sustaining the governance system, and increasing the trust, confidence, ownership, and ownership of the common man towards the government.

The level of public service delivery is what the government perceives for ordinary citizens. It is also the responsibility of the civil service to make the people experience development, prosperity, and good governance by adopting the creative ability, professional integrity, and virtuous behavior of the employees to achieve excellent and specific goals in the service by institutionalizing the new practice of governance by giving service. The staff system, which carries such a deep and important responsibility, needs to be highly motivated and motivated as a whole.

In the end, the success of the government depends on the efficiency, capacity, and effective work of the civil servants; This day will provide more impetus to make it more clean, fair, transparent, corruption-free, accountable to the people, participatory, professional, technology-friendly, motivated, ethical, high morale friendly and customer friendly.
