Celebrating Constitution Day 2078 of Nepal

On the occasion of Nepal's Constitution and National Day, well wishes have been expressed from different countries of the world for the progress of Nepal and Nepalis. Addressing President Vidyadevi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, the heads of state and government of different countries sent congratulatory messages.

President Bhandari has received congratulatory messages from the Presidents of 23 countries including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, United States of America, Russian Federation, Federal Republic of Germany, Switzerland, President of Portugal, and Emperor of Japan.

On this occasion, President of India Ram Nath Kovind on behalf of the Government of India, the people of India, and himself expressed his best wishes to President Bhandari. In the message, he said that the relationship between India and Nepal, known for its historical, cultural, economic and family ties, is everlasting.

Stating that strong people-to-people contacts and strengthen high-level exchanges have further enhanced mutual friendship, he expressed confidence that the multi-faceted India-Nepal relations would be further strengthened by strengthening the very old foundation of mutual partnership for the mutual benefit of the people of both the countries and the region. The President of India wished President Bhandari happiness, good health as well as continued progress and prosperity of the friendly Nepali people.

On the occasion of Constitution Day, US President Joseph Robinette Biden (Joe Biden) has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the President, the Nepali people, and President Bhandari. In the message, he said the two countries had co-operated and co-operated to improve economic relations in the face of the Covid-19 epidemic and the crisis caused by climate change last year. He lauded the 70-year-old lasting US-Nepal friendship, which has been strengthened through diplomatic relations.

Stating that the people-to-people relations between the two countries have brought closer mutual friendship and that educational, trade, social, and political ties are constantly evolving, the US President said in the message that the United States has a firm commitment to Nepal's democracy and sovereignty.
