3 days Training on Climate Change and Womens Empowerment Started in Malangwa

Three-day training on climate change and women's empowerment has started in Malangwa, Sarlahi. The training started on Thursday in a joint project of Prerna Project, HI, and VSO. According to Ram Chandra Chaudhary, Project Coordinator of Prerna, the training was conducted with the objective of informing the girls and members of the Inclusive Education Network about Climate Change and Women's Empowerment under the Engaged Project for Adolescent Empowerment.

In the training initiated by Shanti Mikrani, Deputy Mayor of Malangwa Municipality; Advocate Iman Sunar is imparting training to a total of 26 trainees including head of education, headmaster, teacher, social worker, and members of women's network of 11 schools under Malangwa Municipality and Kaudena Rural Municipality.

Deputy Mayor Mikrani, VSO Program Specialist Feroz Shidiki, VSO Sarlahi DPO Rajan Kumar Karna, Project Coordinator of Prerna Project Chaudhary, and others participated in the inaugural session of the training which was conducted at Malabalwa-8 Birbalko Khichadi Hotel on Thursday.
