13th National Conference of the Society Of Surgeons of Nepal (SSN) Concludes in Bhairahawa: To make surgery more simple and effective, the 13th National Conference of the Society of Surgeons Nepal has been held in Bhairahawa from Thursday. In the conference, which was organized by the Universal College of Medical Sciences and Scientific Committee at Bhairahawa, an article was prepared to encourage further research by exchanging the latest treatment techniques and experience in surgical science at the national and international level.
Dr. Rajesh Paudel, chairman of the organizing scientific committee, said that around 300 doctors, including expert doctors from Nepal, India, and Bangladesh, participated in the conference and 152 working papers were presented. According to him, the program of the first day of the conference was organized at the Universal College of Medical Sciences.
On the first day, the junior surgeons and the trainees were imparted the skills of vascular surgery by the senior surgeon. Live video presentations of the surgeries being performed by various national and international surgeons were also made.
On the second day of the conference, the main activities including presentation of working papers were done by national and international experts. In which subjects like ureter, kidney, bladder, pediatric surgery, heart, lung, neurology and general and gastro were included.
