Overview

Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) This course is designed to prepare competent ANM especially, in midwifery and reproductive health (MCH/FP) And community health, in order to work in Health post, Primary Health care centre and district Hospital etc. as indicated in Health care system in the area of promotive, primitive, maintenance and rehabilitate health services to the individual, family group and communities. The duration of course is 18 month including 3 month on the job training in Health post, PHC and In Hospital.

Verities of teaching, learning methodologies such as mini lecture, discussion, case study, demonstration, role play will be used in class room and demonstration room according to prescribed hours of theory and theory and student must be exposed to various clinical and field areas for prescribed period of time for practical experience of practical subjects 490 ANM graduates are passed out.

It has outstanding results from the CTEVT. More than 90 percent students get awarded with the distinction results. Most of the ANM graduates are now working in Government hospital, public health office and in Different NGO/INGO.
