Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS)

The objective of the newly revised 4 years BBS program at SPM College is to develop students into competent managers. We have association with financial and corporate houses for practical training, internship and job placement. College provides a motivating learning environment, workshops, group discussions to boost up competency and confidence of students. BBS at SPM provides strong theoretical understanding through diverse courses of management sciences.

Upon graduation, a student will be equipped to function as a manager in business, industry and government sectors. Our graduate will have a variety of career opportunities in different sectors of business including entrepreneurship and create much needed jobs for others.

Admission Criteria:

• 10+2 or equivalent in any faculty with minimum 45% aggregate marks.

Attendance and Evaluation System:

For qualifying to appear in the annual examinations, students must meet the following requirements:

• Students must have a minimum of 70% attendance of the classes actually held

Fee Structure:

• Admission Fee: Rs, 4000.00
• Monthly Fee: Rs, 700.00

Scholarships: SPM-BBS Scholarship helps materialize the academic dreams of bright and deserving students Oriented. It offer different scholarship on the basis of academic performance, Marginalized community, disability etc.

Flexible Shift: SPM College has arranged the New BBS classes in both Day & Morning shifts in both English and Nepali medium.

Teaching methods: The college is very eager to introduce the latest teaching methodologies in classroom teaching that is  through making a good combination of Lecturer method, Group Discussion method , Audio-Video method, PowerPoint presentation etc.

Resourceful Faculty

SPM College understands the profound importance of teachers’ role in providing quality education and has taken utmost care in hiring its faculty. BBS faculty, which consists of about 20 members, has been our most important assets. We have a right mix of professionals comprised of practicing managers having long experiences in their respective fields and academicians graduated and trained from abroad as well as from domestic universities with rich experiences.

Resourceful Library & Computer Lab:

We have set a resourceful library specially focused to BBS students so that they will indulge themselves in study even in their leisure times. Students will be provided at least 2 books at a time and other various reference materials.

We have also managed a sophisticated computer lab with internet facilities so that students may have access over recent happenings around the world regarding latest management theories and developments.

Industrial Tour: At SPM College industrial visit are regularly organized to broaden classroom understanding through exposures to real life business processes and environment. We have developed extensive linkages with the major industrial houses in the country and within the zone for the industrial tours.

Projects: Frequently assigned project work provides an opportunity to expand learning beyond the classrooms and promotes team spirit, leadership and communication skills in the students.

Holistic living programs: Mental and physical wellbeing is essential to holistic development of personality. Standing on this philosophy, SPM College regularly holds programs on holistic living. During the program students learn the golden techniques of stress management, meditation and the art of blissful living.
