Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the MD in Paediatrics program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:

   • MBBS or equivalent from institutions recognized by the government of Nepal.

2. Medical Registration:

   • Registered in Nepal Medical Council.
   • For foreign candidates, registered in the respective medical council of the applicant's own country.

3. Work Experience:

   • One year of clinical experience (Except for those pursuing MDGP and MD/MS in Basic Medical Sciences).

4. Entrance Examination:

   • Candidates must score a minimum of 50% (Pass marks) in the Entrance Examination conducted by the Medical Education Commission to be eligible for the merit list.

Examination Details:

• Format: Single best response type with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Options: Four (A, B, C, D)
• Number of Questions: 200
• Recall: Understanding: Application Ratio: 30:50:20
• Duration: 3 hours (includes one-time voluntary toilet break after one hour)
