Navajeevan College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Dhangadhi, Kailali offers 3 years full-time PCL Nursing Program, which is affiliated with CTEVT and accredited by Nepal Nursing Council. Nursing is a service that relates to the whole person through a ministry of caring and nurturing. It helps individuals, families, and communities to prevent illness, promote, and restore health and alleviate suffering. The motto of Navjeevan College of Nursing “love, care, and share” helps the students to motivate others to have a positive outlook on health.
- The basic course in Nursing prepares nurses for the first level of nursing in both the hospital and the community. Education results in behavioral changes. Learning is promoted when intellectual inquiry, creativity, self-direction, maturity, and responsibility are valued.
- We promote the all-round development of the students with special emphasis on intellectual, cultural, social spiritual, and moral aspects needed for a professional nurse who will uphold high professional standards and will contribute to the nation meaningfully.
OBJECTIVES
- To prepare the nurses be able to function as a member of the health team and possess the required competence for the service both in the Hospital and the Community.
- To awaken in them a desire to serve country by placing a special emphasis on meeting the health needs of the rural population.
- To develop in them leadership qualities, a broad vision, sound education and moral values so that they would be competent in providing specialized care which is both scientific and of high quality.
- To create a right attitude towards the profession and realize the need of the people.
- To stimulate in them a desire for further study in advanced fields of the nursing profession.
