Overviews of MPPM at Kathmandu University School of Management, Lalitpur, Nepal (affiliated with KU)
A program jointly run by KU School of Management and Institute for Integrated Development Studies Master of Public Policy and Management (MPPM) is an innovative academic and professional program that deals with the wide range of public policy and public affairs to broaden the public policy perspectives and sharpen the management skills of the public sector.
The MPPM is designed for young and mid-career professionals currently working or seeking a career in public service, private sector, non-profit or other organizations.lt aims to provide aspiring individuals with an opportunity to step outside of narrowly defined traditional lines of discipline and understand and analyze complex public policy and governance issues through the multidisciplinary approach.
Eligibility
- Applicants should have a minimum of 3-year Bachelor Degree or Master Degree with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.0 out of 4.0, or its equivalent, or 45 percent marks in aggregate.
- Applicants of diverse academic background such as political science, social science, economics, journalism, law, business, and others are eligible to apply.
- Applicants having 1 to 3 years of work experience are given preference for admission.
Applicants are required to appear in entrance test administered by KU School of Management.
