Overview
Kathmandu University School of Arts (KUSoA) offers the Master Degree program in Development Studies (DEVS) at Master’s and Ph.D. degrees that aim to meet the growing complexity of development discourses and activities.
On completion of Masters in DEVS, students will have further developed their
- Knowledge, skills and understanding regarding contemporary high priority national and global development issues, and the underlying debate,
- Basic technical skills to effectively conduct research and analysis in different areas of development,
- Ability to communicate and discuss development issues with professionals and academicians,
- Foundations for further studies in related fields.
Eligibility:
Completion of a 3-year Bachelor's degree, or a Master's degree, with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5 out of 4.0 or an equivalent of 50 percent marks In the latest degree acquired will be the basic criteria. Also, securing an acceptable label or ranking in the entrance exam will be essential. The entrance exam will test the candidate's language proficiency and analytical abilities.
