Academic Process

Eligibility

Students must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 45% from Tribhuvan University (TU) or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Curriculum Development Centre, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur.

Admission Test

Students must appear for the entrance examination conducted by the Central Department of English for admission consideration. The entrance exam consists of objective-type questions designed to assess the candidates’ proficiency and aptitude in English language and literature. The admission is determined based on the merit list generated from the scores obtained in the entrance exam. In the case of yearly academic systems, there is no requirement for an entrance examination, and admission may be based on other criteria specified by the department or university.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field from a recognized institution.
You should be able to clear the entrance examination conducted by the Central Department of English.
The last criterion is successfully clearing the interview round in order to be valid for the student list of MA.

MA Fee Structure

Each student can get only one scholarship. If a student fails any exams, they can’t get a scholarship. Students who get tuition waivers get refunds based on their admission receipt, making sure everyone gets fair financial support in the MA in English program.
