Overview
Established in 2000, The Times International College (TTIC) has been providing quality education to students in Nepal for over two decades. The college has consistently strived to redefine how quality education should be imparted to students in ways that nurture their academic knowledge and skills, as well as encourage and motivate them to become better human beings.
Mission and Vision
The fundamental mission of TTIC is to make the learning process applied, spontaneous, and career-oriented to equip each student to be competent enough to excel in the global arena. The principal aim of the institution is to impart quality and sound education. The vision of TTIC is to become a pioneer college in Nepal by providing quality and time-bound educational services.
Objectives
The college has set a range of objectives to help students develop entrepreneurship and professional managerial skills, compete in a changing and challenging environment, cultivate the habit of generating innovative and creative ideas, and become competent enough to excel in the global arena.
Salient Features
TTIC comprises eight ropanies of land with open space and has highly qualified professionals with years of teaching experience. The staff of the college is cooperative, communicative, and always ready to help students with a smile. The college has its own hostel, separate for girls and boys, with all modern facilities. TTIC prioritizes students and conducts sports and extra-curricular activities for their physical and aptitude development programs.
Admission and Scholarship
The admission procedure is conducted through an entrance examination followed by an interview. Students holding a minimum of "B+" in the examinations deserve to be admitted in the Science stream, "B" in Management, and "C" in Humanities. TTIC provides a wide range of scholarships to academically sound, deserving, marginalized (Dalit, women, Madeshi, Janjati, and Martyr’s family members) as well as needy but laborious students from inaccessible areas who come across the criteria initiated by College Management. Limited scholarship will be provided to students of Government/public schools who are found to be academically sound.
Schedules and Personality Development
Teaching in all programs takes place in the form of lectures, seminars, workshops, project works, presentation, and group discussion. The college conducts Unit Tests, Terminal Tests, and Pre-Board examinations on a regular basis. The college emphasizes personality and leadership grooming through presentations, public speaking, mock interviews, aptitude tests, and industry visits, which help students become pragmatic and down to earth.
Other Facilities
TTIC provides transportation facilities for students who live anywhere in the valley. The college runs a cafeteria that provides a variety of hygienically prepared food items with considerate prices. The college possesses a separate hostel for boys and girls in the periphery of the college, providing special care and a homely environment. The college also possesses a well-equipped computer lab with 50 LCD monitors and internet facilities.
TTIC is committed to recognizing its students nationally and internationally, guaranteeing the quality of a student.
