Overview
The Himal Institute of Health Science was established in 2004 AD (2059 BS) and affiliated with Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and It is also recognized by National Nursing Council and National Health Professional Council. It was founded to cater to the growing needs of qualified, competent, and experienced individuals in the nursing, General medicine, Radiography, and Laboratory sector.
It offers various health and technical programs such as PCL in Diagnostic Radiography, PCL in Medical Laboratory Technology (Lab Technician CMLT), PCL in General Medicine Health Assistant (HA), and PCL Nursing (Staff Nurse).
Vision: The institution has set forward to imparting quality to health education. Through innovation, motivation, and hard work, it believes that it can achieve the goal for which it has ventured out into the realms of education.
Mission: The institution aims to be a milestone in the field of health. It will not only impart theoretical concepts but will also produce individuals conscious about the status and dignity of the particular field.
Goal/ Objectives
- To produce different categories of competent health manpower and contribute to providing curative, preventive, promote, and rehabilitative health services.
- To minimize the problem of underdevelopment and unemployment by providing that produced manpower can be utilized by the GOs, I/NGOs, local authorities, and the private sectors.
- To conduct needs-based on health-related subjects.
