Swastik College, the School of Computer Science and Application, was founded in 2013 by a team of academicians and young entrepreneurs. The college is located in Chardobato, Gattaghar, Bhaktapur and currently offers BSc Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc CSIT) and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) programs.

Admission Guidelines:

Eligibility For BCA:

• Applicant must pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (TUFOHSS).
• Minimum D+ grade in each subject of grade 11 and 12 with CGPA 2.0.
• Minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL or equivalent in any discipline.
• Students who have passed grade 11 and are waiting for supplementary exam (PURAK PARIKSHA) of grade 12 can also apply. However, they must submit all required documents at the time of admission.

Eligibility For BSc CSIT:

• Students who have completed twelve years of schooling in science with at least 45% score in the final examination or its equivalent from any recognized educational institution are eligible to apply for the B.Sc CSIT program.
• Applicant must pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University Institute of Science and Technology (TUIOST).
• Minimum C grade in each subject of 11 and 12 (Science stream) or +2 with minimum second division or 3 years diploma engineering with minimum second division or A Level (Science Stream) with minimum D Grade.
• Applicant must have taken Physics and Math, each having at least 100 full marks.

Note:

1. The college follows the admission guidelines set by Tribhuvan University.
2. The admission process is competitive and only selected applicants will be admitted based on their performance in the entrance exam and their eligibility criteria.

Scholarship Information

Swastik College offers various scholarship opportunities for BCA students based on their academic performance. The scholarship information is as follows:

BCA Grand Scholarships:

• Students with an NEB grade of 3.6 or above OR +2 percentage of 80% or above OR TU Entrance Rank of 1 to 100 are eligible for a scholarship of Rs. 2.0 Lakhs.
• Students with an NEB grade of 3.4 or above OR +2 percentage of 75% to 79.99% OR TU Entrance Rank of 101 to 200 are eligible for a scholarship of Rs. 2.5 Lakhs.
• Students with an NEB grade of 3.2 or above OR +2 percentage of 70% to 74.99% OR TU Entrance Rank of 201 to 300 are eligible for a scholarship of Rs. 3.0 Lakhs.
• Students with an NEB grade of 3.0 or above OR +2 percentage of 65% to 69.99% OR TU Entrance Rank of 301 to 400 are eligible for a scholarship of Rs. 3.5 Lakhs.
• Students with an NEB grade of 2.8 or above OR +2 percentage of 60% to 64.99% OR TU Entrance Rank of 401 to 500 are eligible for a scholarship of Rs. 4.0 Lakhs.

The scholarship quota is 7 for each scholarship scheme.

In addition to the above, Swastik College also provides free professional training in each semester, ample workshops and exposure, and 100% placement assistance after completion of the course.
