Softwarica College of IT and E-commerce was established in 2010 AD as a privately owned higher educational Institution located in Dillibazar, Kathmandu, Nepal. Softwarica College is collaborating with Coventry University to offer BSc (Hons) Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence, BSc (Hons) Computing, BSc (Hons) Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity, and MSc Data Science and Computational Intelligence programs. On successful completion, students will receive a Coventry University degree award.

Softwarica College is a pioneer in introducing British Education in Nepal. Established in 2010, the college has crossed significant milestones in this short period. This is evident because the student population has already reached 400 and is becoming very popular among students who aspire to gain a British qualification. Softwarica College is one of the IT colleges in Nepal for student satisfaction in terms of course delivery and other academic resources.

To provide real-time work experience right after the completion of the first year, students are provided with internship opportunities with renowned Companies in Nepal. Similarly, after completing their second year, students are placed in various companies in Nepal and abroad in positions according to their skill level. Hence, when a student graduates, he/she will have more than one year of real-time work experience, facilitating his/her pursuit of positions at the middle level in companies at home and abroad.
