Shankharapur Polytechnic Institute

Shankharapur Polytechnic Institute is a technical academic institute located in Sankhu, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is affiliated with Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and approved by the Government of Nepal. It offers 18-months programs such as Diploma in Civil Engineering (Sub Overseer) for 40 seats each year and 3 years full-time Diploma Level Engineering Programs (Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Hydropower Engineering, Diploma in Automobile Engineering, and Diploma in Geomatics Engineering).

Shankharapur Polytechnic Institute covers 65 Ropani of land accommodating Administrative/Academic Block, Laboratories/workshops, canteen, and a principal quarter. Office space, as well as classrooms, are well equipped and well furnished. Altogether SPI accommodates 96 students in regular programs.

SPI was established in 2016 to provide opportunities to the people of all over the country to train in technical education and vocational training so that they can improve their standard of living as well as contribute all over development. In order to ensure easy accessibility for people from remote areas, the Institute has allocated some quotas for the Janajati, Mahila, and Disadvantages groups all over the country. The school has been offering TEVT civil engineering and Geomatics Engineering right from its establishment.
