Shahid Smarak College was established in 1991 as a community college. It is located in Kirtipur, Nayabazar, Kathmandu. It is affiliated with National Examination Board (NEB) and Tribhuvan University (TU). Shahid Smarak College offers Plus two in Management & Humanities and four years Bachelor's Degree programs in Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS).
Shahid Smarak College, the first community college in Kirtipur, has been providing quality education for over 25 years, serving students from more than 68 districts across Nepal. Established to honor the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for democracy in Nepal in 2046 BS, the college offers affordable education while striving for academic excellence.
History and Growth:
Since its inception, the college has expanded its academic offerings, starting with NEB-affiliated +2 programs in Management, Humanities, and Education. In the academic session 2070/71 BS, the college successfully introduced a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BA/BSW), further broadening its educational reach.
