Overview

The School of Medical Sciences (SMS), Kathmandu, is affiliated with the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), the national autonomous apex body of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in Nepal. Established in 2004 AD, SMS is committed to producing skilled and technical human resources essential for the nation. The institution began its journey in health education with a three-year Diploma in Pharmacy (DPH). Over the years, it expanded its offerings to include a Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT) and the TSLC Lab Assistant Program, which has now been upgraded to Radiography. SMS is also planning to introduce Diploma programs in Physiotherapy and Civil Engineering.
