Overview

The School of Health Science, Chitwan, is a constituent school of CTEVT, established in Bharatpur-10, Chitwan, Nepal, in 1997. Located approximately 180 KM southwest of Kathmandu, it is accessible by both road and air transport. The campus was initially the Institute of Medicine ANM campus Bharatpur and was renovated by the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The renovated campus was inaugurated on February 4th, 1997, and officially handed over to the Nepal Government on December 2nd, 1997. KOICA also provided essential teaching materials, equipment, and other physical facilities. The school began its educational activities on March 1st, 1997, with 50 students enrolled in the PCL program in General Medicine. From 1997 to 2005, the school was managed through a joint effort between CTEVT and Korean NGOs. Currently, it is overseen by the School Management Board, chaired by the Chief District Officer of Chitwan.

Our Courses

Under the CTEVT umbrella, the School of Health Science is the first institution in Nepal to produce certificate-level professionals for the health sector. The school currently offers certificate-level courses in seven health science disciplines:
