South Asian Institute of Management (SAIM) is an independent academic institution at Old Baneshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal. Established in 2005, SAIM aims to provide need-based management education to facilitate the growth and development of South Asian managers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.

Faculty Strength:

Placements and Endeavors: SAIM's technical competencies and personality virtues have helped its graduates land jobs with diverse employers.
Career Counseling and Placement Cell: SAIM's career counseling program helps graduates identify suitable career choices and successfully transition into the job market. The placement cell also facilitates job placements through corporate linkages.

Admission Guidelines for SAIM:

Eligibility Criteria for MBA (Global Business):

Applicants from any stream who have completed a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level with a minimum of 50% overall aggregate score of at least 2.0 CGPA are eligible to apply.
Applicants who have completed all the semester/year (with 50% or above) and are awaiting final semester/year results may apply for admission on a provisional basis.
Candidates must pass the PUMAT examination.
Candidates must also appear for an in-person interview to be eligible for admission to the MBA (Global Business) program.

Eligibility Criteria for BBA:

Applicants from any stream who have completed Grade 11 or equivalent level with a minimum overall aggregate score of 50% are eligible to apply.
GCE A-level students must have cleared at least 3 Advanced Level Courses.
Applicants who have completed Grade 11 (with 50% or above) and are awaiting Grade 12 results may apply for admission on a provisional basis.

Admission Process for BBA:

Applicants can either visit the college, obtain the form, complete it, and submit it to the college with all the required documents.
Applicants must submit the following documents: transcripts and certificates of Grade 12 or equivalent examinations, certificate and transcript of Grade 10 (SLC or equivalent), character certificate (SLC and Grade 12), provisional certificate, migration certificate, citizenship certificate, or passport document.

Selection Criteria:

SAIM chooses applicants with leadership potential and a clear mission and vision about their road to success.
SAIM looks for candidates willing to learn continuously and use their true abilities and skills to make a difference in the marketplace.
Applicants must appear for an in-person interview to be eligible for admission to the MBA (Global Business) program.
Overall academic performance, PUMAT examination score, and personal interview performance are the key factors that SAIM considers while selecting candidates for admission.

Scholarship Information:

SAIM offers tuition waivers to students who top their class based on the results of the end-term examinations. This scholarship is valid for the particular term only.
