After the 2036 BS referendum, recognizing the importance of education and ensuring access to all, education enthusiasts, intellectuals, and youth of the Bara district felt the need for a campus in the area. Accordingly, on Ashwin 28, 2036 BS, a 17-member ad hoc committee was formed under the chairmanship of the National Panchayat Member Mr. Devdhari Prasad. The committee included Vice Chairman Mr. Bishwanath Singh, Secretary Mr. Gopal Agrawal, and members such as Mr. Keshav Prasad Upadhyay, Mr. Ganesh Raj Shastri, Mr. Rammani Sharma, Mr. Mukund Bahadur, Mr. Madhav Madhukar, Mr. Harilal Agrawal, Mr. Yugal Kishore Pathak, Mr. Chanda Shah, Mr. Laxman Prasad Paudel, Mr. Sahid Mansur, Mr. Ganesh Prasad Dhakal, Mr. Ram Bhajan Yadav, Mr. Madhav Gautam, and Mr. Hrishikesh Lohani.
The committee called for a general assembly on Kartik 12, 2036 BS, to increase public participation and accelerate fundraising efforts. The outstanding academic performance of this campus is evident from the fact that most of the previous students have been successfully capable of placing themselves in various fields.

Campus aims to obtain a Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) certificate from the University Grants Commission (UGC). This presents a challenge for the campus, as It aims to provide quality education at an affordable rate, mainly because many of Its students come from lower economic backgrounds, especially from middle-class and labor-class families.
