Overview
Pulchowk Campus - Institute of Engineering (IOE) (Also known as Pulchowk Engineering Campus) was established in 1972 as a constituent campus of Tribhuvan University. Under the Institute of Engineering (IOE) there are four constituent Public campuses and ten private colleges. Pulchowk Campus is the central campus of the Institute of Engineering. It is one of the constituent campuses of the Institute of Engineering and is located at the heart of the Lalitpur city at Pulchowk, Nepal.
Pulchowk Campus offers undergraduate degree Courses, Postgraduate Degree and Ph. D. programs in different areas of engineering. It provides a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil, Electronics and Communication, Architecture Engineering, and a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering.
Pulchowk campus is well-equipped with basic laboratories with great strength of faculties and staffs, separate buildings for academic and administrative purposes has become the center of excellence of engineering education in Nepal.
Pulchowk Campus has a unique and globally renowned appearance in the engineering field. it is not only offering Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) programs but also conducting Master of Science (M.Sc.) in engineering on various disciplines as well as Ph.D. programs also. Every year Institute of Engineering (IOE) conducts an entrance examination for Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) programs. All Eligible candidates from all over the world, aspiring to study engineering appear for this exam and only the students in merit basis get the chance to study at Pulchowk Campus.
