Overview
Public Administration Campus (Jana Prashasan Campus - जन प्रशासन क्यापस) was established in 1796 and it is located at Balkhu Height, Kathmandu. PAC was started under the Center for Economic Development and Administration (CEDA) of Tribhuvan University (TU). It has sole responsibility for education for public administration in Nepal and imparting education, training, and conducting research programs in the area of public affairs management. In 1986, PAC has upgraded to the Central Department of Public Administration (CDPA).
Public Administration Campus offers four years of Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA), Two years of Master of Public Administration (MPA), and 18 months of Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Public Administration.
The Public Administration Campus (Jana Prashasan Campus) has close ties with the government and incorporates curricular changes and new programs necessary to respond to their needs. Prof. Dr. P.S Bhattanakar of the Rajasthan University of Jaipur, Prof. Fred Rigs of the University of Hawaii, Prof. Avubewa of the University of Philippines were some of the notable distinguished personalities who have also been contributed in the MPA program in Nepal.
