Overview
Pathivara Engineering College (PEC), Birtamode, Jhapa, was established as an engineering college in Eastern Nepal under the affiliation of Purbanchal University. Experienced educationists, professional management bodies, and academicians run PEC. BE in Civil Engineering
BE Civil Engineering is a four-year undergraduate (UG) engineering program that deals with designing, constructing, and maintaining structures such as tunnels, bridges, airports, etc. This course develops a student's capability of planning, analyzing, and creating projects. The Bachelor of Civil Engineering offers multiple job opportunities, such as Engineer, Construction Supervisor, Land Surveyor in a particular area, Manager, and designer.
BE in Computer Engineering
The BE Computer Engineering curriculum is designed to ensure that students have an opportunity to learn all the essential skills they need. It helps students learn computer languages like C programming, Java, and Python, which are necessary for developing computer software. This course competently assists students in becoming professional computer and science engineers. Hence, due to the latest curriculum, there is a large job scope for BE Computer Engineering graduates.
Admission Eligibility
The student must have passed NEB (+2 Science stream)/A level or Equivalent (with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, & English [PCME]) with a minimum 'C' Grade in English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics [PCME] from a recognized academic institution with at least 45% marks or GPA 2.00 in aggregate. Students are examined based on their academic performance in the Entrance Exam conducted by Purbanchal University. The meritorious students will be preferred over others in the admission procedures.
