Bharatpur was in Ward No. 4 of Dang Panchayat, in the Rapti Zone of the Mid-western Development Region of Nepal.
This organization is an excellent opportunity to provide higher education in humanities faculty to those students who are interested in completing their higher education after passing SLC from secondary schools near Bheri and Lumbini Zones, including Rapti Zone of that time after getting accepted by Ministry of Education, Government of Shree 5 on 29th Asadh, 2016 B.S. Heavenly Mr. Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah laid the foundation stone of this organization building on Tuesday, 14th Poush, 2016 B.S. The credit for establishing this organization goes to Mr. Damodar Sharma Ghimire, a Ghanibagia resident and the Secretary of the Board of Directors.
In the beginning, this campus did not have a building. So, in the morning, classes were held on the upper floor of the neighboring Shree Padmodaya Public Namuna Secondary School, Bharatpur, Dang, also known as a High School.
The campus was started with five students, including Yagya Bahadur Budathoki, Kaushal Chandra Subedi, and Bhupalayogi, in the first batch.
The same teachers who taught in high school also used to teach in college. The same person held the functions of high school principal and college principal.
Since its establishment, the college has operated in the morning. Hence, the staff and teachers serving in various offices and educational institutions also have the opportunity to get higher education in this institution.
According to the rule of TU (Tribhuvan University, the first university in Nepal), teaching hours should be 50 minutes.
Since 2027, B.S. operating the college during the day was necessary. Thus, the new building was inaugurated on 31st June 2028 B.S., and Mr. Nand Bahadur Malla, from the then Anchalidhas of Rapti Zone, quickly completed the construction.
Arrangements were made for principals, teachers, and staff to work separately instead of in schools and colleges.
This college was initially approved for a Proficiency Certificate in 2024 B.S., 16 students were enrolled, and graduation-level studies were conducted. Still, the studies were suspended midway due to a lack of approval.
However, according to the plan of the new national education system implemented in 2028 B.S., in 2030 B.S., after all the schools for higher education across the country were brought under Tribhuvan University, the life of this campus also underwent a radical change.
The campus conducted education up to only Certificate Level until 2032. B.S. got approval to conduct graduation level since 2033 B.S. from Tribhuvan University, and the class was inaugurated by then the Vice-Chancellor Mr. Surya Bahadur Shakya.
Since 1st Magh 2033, B.S., the Bachelor-level program for in-service teachers under the Institute of Education Study, has been included in this campus. IL (Inter in Law) in the year 2046 B.S. and BL (Bachelor in Law) in the year 2048 B.S. classes were conducted for the Faculty of Law, but the Faculty of Law has not been operating in this campus since 2063 B.S. after the Faculty of Law was merged with Mahendra Multiple Campus, Nepalgunj.
However, this campus has earned fame by producing many lawyers during that period.
The study of MA (Master in Arts) in Political Science started in 2057 B.S., MA English in 2058 B.S., and MA Nepali at the Master's level in 2067 B.S. However, the study of MA Nepali at the Master's level has stopped due to a lack of students.
Since 2062, I have earned a B.S. and a BSc on this campus. (Bachelor in Science) has been conducted in the Faculty of Science under the Institute of Science and Information Technology.
Initially, a three-year undergraduate program was conducted. Still, a four-year science graduate program is currently taught under the Physical & Biology group—the BSc CSIT (BSc in Computer Science and Information Technology) program also started in 2078 B.S.
A three-year B.Ed. The program has been conducted since 2065 B.S. and is currently under a four-year education program.
Currently, the education faculty teaches population and Nepali subjects at the undergraduate level in the Ae-year B.Ed program, which is also in operation.
After being inadequate, a single-floored building on campus started its construction in 2025 B.S. It was completed construction in the year 2027 B.S. Three rooms were constructed on the upper floor with the financial support of Rs. 45,000/- from Rapti Zone Education Committee, Tulsipur, Dang, in the fiscal year 2032/033 B.S., while the hall room of the North Side of the building was constructed in support of Shree Ratannath Ashram, Chaughera, Dang and the hall room of South Side of the building, was built with the help of Shree Swargdwari Ashram.
This campus is located within a plot of land measuring three bighas, 10 katha, and 17 dhur.
The staff quarter, consisting of five units, was constructed on the campus's south side. Rapti Anchaladhis, Mr. Digambar Jha, laid the foundation stone on 5th Asoj 2023 B.S.
The construction of a library and sports building was completed next to the campus building in 2037 B.S. with the financial support of Rs. 2,25,000/- collected from every resident of Dang district lying the foundation stone in 3rd Poush 2033 B.S. by Vice Chancellor Mr. Surya Bahadur Shakya after realizing the need of a separate library and sports building.
For the construction of that building, the employees and teachers working in various offices and educational institutions in Dang Deukhuri received a salary of 1/1 day.
A statue of the heavenly Mr. Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah was installed on the east side of the main building on this campus with the help of District Panchayat Dang. However, the statute is currently insufficient.
Similarly, a resident of Bharatpur, Dang, Mr. Yagya Kumari Gyawali, had established a Saraswati Temple (Symbol of Knowledge) between the campus's main building, the library, and the sports building at the campus's request.
Similarly, the administrative building was constructed in 2036 B.S. at Rs. 28,000/-.
Rapti Anchaladhis, Mr. Keshav Chandra Gautam, laid the foundation stone of the MMC building on 22nd Bhadra 2036 B.S. Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa inaugurated it on 28th Magh 2036 B.S.
