Situated in the heart of Ghorahi, Dang, the Mahendra Multiple Campus stands as a prestigious educational institution, affiliated with the renowned Tribhuvan University. History of Shree B.B. Shah Inter College (Mahendra Multiple Campus, Dang)

Establishment & Early Days:

• Founded on 9th Magh 2015 B.S. in Bharatpur, Dang to provide higher education in the humanities.
• The foundation stone was laid by Mr. Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah on 14th Poush, 2016 B.S.
• Credit for the establishment goes to Mr. Damodar Sharma Ghimire, the Secretary of the Board of Directors.
• Initially, the college operated from the upper floor of Shree Padmodaya Public Namuna Secondary School, Bharatpur, Dang.
• The campus began with just 5 students including Yagya Wahadur Vudathoki, Kaushal Chandra Subedi, and Bhupalayogi.
• The functions of the high school and college principal were managed by the same person.

Evolution & Growth:

• The college operated only in the morning, enabling staff from other institutions to attend.
• In 2027 B.S., the campus moved to a new building inaugurated by Mr. Nand Bahadur Malla.
• Separate arrangements were made for the principal, teachers, and staff of the school and college.
• Though initially approved for a Proficiency Certificate, the campus eventually expanded its courses after aligning with Tribhuvan University.
• The campus introduced various courses like B.Ed., BSc., MBS, BBA, MA in various subjects, and more over the years.

Infrastructure & Development:

• The original single-story building started in 2025 B.S. and was completed in 2027 B.S.
• Additional rooms and halls were constructed with the support of various institutions and individuals.
• The campus sprawls across 3 bigha, 10 katha, and 17 dhur of land.
• Buildings for the library, sports, and administration were added over the years, with contributions from various stakeholders.
• A statue of Mr. Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah was installed on campus, and a Saraswati Temple was established by Mr. Yagya Kumari Gyawali.
