Overview

Madan Ashrit Memorial Technical School (Madan Ashrit Smriti Prabidhik Shikshalaya / Madan Ashrit Memorial Polytechnic Institute) was established in 2009 as a technical school, which is located in Kageshwori Manohara Municipality-8, Gothatar, Kathmandu. It offers CTEVT-affiliated Diploma and Pre-diploma Level Programs.

Madan Ashrit Memorial Foundation was established in the honor of two of the most respected people leaders Late Shree Madan Bhandari and the Late Shree Jeevraj Ashrit. The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) constituted in 1989 (2045 BS) is a national autonomous apex body of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector committed to the production of technical and skillful human resources required by the nation.

It is initiated with the aim of imparting technical education and vocational training to ensure the quality education of young people at least one representing each district of Nepal. Since its establishment, it has been providing long-term and short-term as well as vocational training courses, vocational education is a social process concerned primarily with people and the work they do in our society in addition to its concern with preparing people for work, it seeks to improve the work potential of the labor force. General education prepares us to live well but vocational education prepares us to work well in the human capital framework, general education creates general human capital and vocational whereas technical and vocational education creates specific human capital.

Madan Ashrit Memorial Technical School (MAMTS) is located in 25 ropani of its own land in Gothatar, Kathmandu. We’re well equipped with all the physical infrastructure needed for the college.

Scholarship:

MAMTS also provides scholarships for the poor, Dalit, women, and DAGs in each long-term training course, according to the policy and guidelines of MAMF and CTEVT. Priority has to be given to local, poor, martyrs’ families, women, ethnic, and marginalized groups.

Criteria For Enrollment:

Diploma:

Civil and Geomatics Engineering	SLC graduates with Compulsory Mathematics, English, and science or Equivalent. TSLC graduates from CTEVT or TU with at least 68.33% & 66.67% respectively.	SLC/SEE graduates with a letter grade of “C” in Compulsory Mathematics & Science and “D+” in English,
Agriculture (Animal Science)	SLC graduates with Compulsory Mathematics, English, and science or Equivalent. TSLC graduates from CTEVT or TU with at least 68.33% & 66.67% respectively.	SLC/SEE graduates with a letter grade “C” in any two among Compulsory Mathematics, Science & English and “D+” in the remaining one.
Hotel Management	SLC graduates with Compulsory Mathematics, English, and science or Equivalent. TSLC graduates from CTEVT or TU with at least 68.33% & 66.67% respectively.	SLC/SEE graduates with a letter grade “D+” in Compulsory Mathematics, Science, and English
