KIST Medical College is affiliated with the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University (TU) for the MBBS Course from the year 2008 and for the BDS course from the year 2011. Both programs are recognized by the Nepal Medical Council, Medical Council of India (reciprocal recognition), WHO, and the USFMG
