Kathmandu College of Management (KCM) is a privately owned higher education institution established in 1997 Gwarko, Lalitpur. It was the first college in Nepal to introduce BBA programs. Kathmandu College of Management offers four-year full-time Bachelor's degree programs affiliated with SIAM University, Thailand, for BBA Finance & Banking and BBA Marketing. BBA Finance and Banking

The Kathmandu College of Management offers various scholarships to recognize and support the academic achievements of its students. These scholarships include the Swangsri Sivakriskul Jehendar Scholarship, which is awarded to five Nepali citizens based on financial need and academic merit; the Merit-Based Scholarship, which is awarded to seven students based on exceptional academic ability; the Management Appreciation Scholarship, which is awarded to one fourth-year student who exhibits potential in academics and extracurricular activities; and the Student Council Scholarship, which is awarded to two students with outstanding academic achievement and leadership involvement. Additionally, the Platinum Excellency Scholarship and the Best Council Member Award are two subcategories of the Student Council Scholarship. Eligibility criteria and selection processes vary for each scholarship program.

Swangsri Sivakriskul Jehendar Scholarship:

  • Number of scholarships: 5

  • Eligibility: Open to all Nepali citizens who have attained at least 80% marks in the School Leaving Certificate from a government school and secured above 75% marks for 10+2 board results from any private or public institutions. Priority will be given to applicants from low-income families or marginalized communities.

  • Scholarship amount: Full tuition waiver

  • Application process: Students must be admitted to the KCM—Siam University International BBA program, submit the Scholarship Application form along with the other admission requirements, write a personal statement explaining why they deserve financial aid, and nominate 2 references (other than family members or relatives) who can vouch for their family’s economic status and whom we can contact.

Merit-Based Scholarship:

  • Number of scholarships: 7

  • Eligibility: Students who have completed their academic year (1st/2nd/3rd) and have topped their respective batch for a year.

  • Scholarship amount: 100% tuition fees for the following year.

Management Appreciation Scholarship:

Eligibility Criteria:

KCM seeks applicants who demonstrate leadership potential, consistency, and focus toward their ambitions. The following students are eligible to apply for the program:

  • Students who have completed NEB Grade 12 with a minimum of Grade C in all subjects.

  • Students who have completed CBSE Grade 12 with a minimum of 50%.

  • Students who have completed GCE A level with a minimum of 3 credits must have taken at least 3 Advanced Level Courses.

  • Students who have completed GED with a minimum score of 600.

  • Students who have completed Grade 11 and are awaiting Grade 12 results may apply for admission on a provisional basis.

Admission Process:

The admission process at KCM involves four steps:

Step 1:

Submit the application form along with the required documents, which include a Transcript and certificate of Grade 12 or equivalent, a Transcript and certificate of Grade 10 or equivalent, a Character certificate (Grade 10 and Grade 12), a Provisional certificate, a Migration certificate, a Citizenship certificate, and a Passport.

Step 2:

Shortlisted candidates must take a written test to assess their quantitative ability and English language proficiency. They will also be evaluated in a group discussion to determine their communication skills.

Step 3:

Candidates who pass the written test and group discussion will be called for an interview.

Step 4:

Candidates who perform well in the interview can be admitted and join the KCM family.
