Overview

Karnali Technical School (कर्णाली प्राविधिक शिक्षालय, जुम्ला० was established in 1980 AD (2037 BS) by the Government of Nepal. It is located in Ghughuti 5, Chandannath, Jumla district of Nepal. It was established with the objective to produce basic and middle level skillful technical manpower in the field of agriculture, construction, and health. KTS is affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). It is also approved by the Nepal Nursing council and Nepal Health Professional Council.

Karnali Technical School (KTS) offers Technical and Vocational programs such as Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM), Diploma in Agriculture (Plant Science), Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Forestry, JTA-Plant Science, Pre-Diploma in Civil Engineering (Civil Sub-Overseer), and Veterinary JTA.

Vision: KTS will be the leading Technical School in fulfilling the demand for basic and middle-level technicians for the development of the Nation.

Mission: It provides effective Technical education, vocational training, and services to disadvantaged youths and community people for the improvement of their livelihood. 

Goal/ Objectives:

  • To produce basic and middle level skillful technical human power in the field of agriculture, construction, and health.
  • To conduct need-based short term training to the community people in order to raise awareness and uplift their economic status.
  • To reduce the unemployment problem of the nation by providing specific training in the field of agriculture, construction, and health.
  • To provide service to the community people in the field of agriculture, construction, and health.
