Overview
Kantipur Institute of Health Sciences and Kantipur Dental Hospital (KDH, established in 1997 A.D, KIHS, established in 2004 A.D) is the first dental Hygiene school and only Dental Hospital in western Nepal. It is formed to increase awareness and advance the sciences and art of dentistry for the health and welfare of the public. Technically backed up by the Japanese Volunteer Group, BUDDHI BANGARA JAPAN, a Japanese NGO, with instruments and equipment KIHS & KDH is a highly professional organization with some of the finest and skillful hands that have been crafted over the year, with just one purpose. “QUALITY ORAL HEALTH and EDUCATION”.
It also offers CTEVT affiliated with a Certificate in Dental Science (Dental Hygiene), Certificate in Diagnostic Radiography, Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT), and Diploma in Pharmacy.
Kantipur Institute of Health Sciences, Pokhara provides technical education with moderate fee structures and also provides a scholarship scheme for deserving students.
