Evaluation and Examination Criteria

At ICHM, evaluations are designed to ensure students' academic growth and progression. In a 6-month semester, students are required to undertake three examinations:

  1. Unit Test: Administered every 15 lecture hours to evaluate students' grasp of the curriculum.

  2. Pre-Board Examination: Conducted after completion of 45 lecture hours to assess the readiness of students for the final examination.

  3. Board Examination: This is the final evaluation consisting of both theoretical and practical tests, conducted after the completion of the entire course.

Admission Guidelines for Bachelor's Degree Program

ICHM seeks to admit qualified individuals who meet the University's stringent eligibility standards:

  • Applicants must have passed a recognized board/Intermediate university's or Higher Secondary Examination (equivalent to twelve years' formal education) in any stream: Humanities, Management, Science, Engineering, or Technology. They should have a minimum score of 60 percent in any two subjects and at least 45 percent in English.

  • Alternatively, candidates who have passed the GCE 'A' Level with a minimum GPA of 'B' or above are also eligible to apply.
