Established in 2003, HRIT Academy is a privately owned higher educational institution located in Basundhara, Kathmandu. With its affiliation to NEB for Class 11 and 12, HRIT offers a diverse range of courses in Management, Science, Humanities, Law, and Fine Arts. Discipline and Decorum

Situated in the historical location of Bashundhara Chauki, Kantimarg, HRIT Academy places great emphasis on maintaining discipline within its premises. Misbehavior of any kind is strictly prohibited as we believe that discipline, dedication, and devotion are key factors for individual success. Students are expected to conduct themselves with decency, decorum, and cooperative behavior.

Rules and Regulations

To ensure a conducive learning environment, HRIT Academy has established certain rules and regulations that students are obliged to abide by. Some of the important rules include:

• College starts promptly at 6:20 AM, and students should enter the college premises by 6:15 AM. Latecomers will not be entertained in class if they are more than five minutes late.
• Students must carry their identity cards at all times and produce them upon request.
• Prescribed school attire, including black shoes, white socks, a black belt, a black cap, and a muffler (in winter), must be worn during school hours and any school-related activities.
• Students must bring textbooks and notebooks to class, and only a fair notebook register file is allowed.
• Students are required to attend all lessons and are not allowed to leave the classroom without a pass issued by teachers.
• Examinations conducted by the college are mandatory, and no excuses for non-participation will be tolerated.
• A minimum of 80% attendance is required for each terminal examination. Failure to meet this requirement without a valid reason may result in suspension or exclusion from examinations.
• Students can avail themselves of leave only with prior permission from the concerned Head of Department/Principal, or in case of urgent family matters with an excuse from parents/guardians.
• Students must remain within the school grounds once they have reported to school.
• Boys are expected to maintain a clean-shaven face, while girls must keep their hair neat, tidy, and tied. No earrings or ear studs are allowed, and fingernails should be kept short and clean.
• Students must show respect when interacting with others and refrain from disorderly behavior, use of abusive language, vandalizing college property, or misuse of resources and facilities.
• In case of personal discomfort, students are not allowed to take matters into their own hands, and the college management is ready to address any immediate concerns.
• The use of mobile phones and similar devices is strictly prohibited inside classrooms, and the college will not be responsible for any loss of such devices.
• Students are advised not to visit public places like parks or cinema halls while wearing the college uniform.
• Bikes are not permitted within the college premises.
• Possession of banned items is strictly prohibited.
• Consumption of food is only allowed within the designated canteen area.
• Timely payment of fees is mandatory.
• Students are encouraged to use the college's web software, www.hrit.meroschool.com, to stay updated on their activities and receive guidance and upgrades accordingly.
• For emergency and immediate information, the college has introduced Notice Board Numbers: 1618-01-439011. Information from these numbers is considered valid.

Auditorium Hall: Equipped with air conditioning and a seating capacity of 150 members, our auditorium serves as a meeting hub for department meetings and seminars.

Cafeteria: Our well-managed cafeteria serves delicious, fresh, and hygienic breakfast, meals, bakery items, tea, coffee, and juice. We discourage the consumption of junk food.

Transport: The college provides transportation services through buses owned by the institution, offering safe and convenient travel for students at a nominal charge.

Library: Operating on the principles of silence, service, and user education, our library houses a vast collection of print and digital documents. It serves as an immense source of information, and students and faculty can access their respective websites to find details on necessary books.

Separate Hostel: HRIT Academy provides separate hostels for boys and girls. These hostels offer furnished double and single rooms with separate bathrooms, spacious playgrounds, and round-the-clock security, emergency medical care, and housekeeping facilities.

Classrooms: Our spacious classrooms accommodate a limited number of students to ensure a conducive learning environment. The classes are equipped with digital content, including interactive whiteboards, power podiums, visual presenters, digital cameras, and sound systems with acoustic speakers.

Computer Lab: The well-equipped computer lab at HRIT Academy provides students with unlimited internet access. This full-time operating section facilitates easy and convenient exploration of cloud-based technology.

Other Facilities: HRIT Academy offers students additional opportunities to expand their knowledge and experiences. We conduct various extracurricular and sports activities, including different games such as Table Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, and Badminton. We also provide training in various martial arts, Tai Chi, meditation, and opportunities to participate in national and international competitions, all under the guidance of national coaches.
