Gandaki Boarding School (GBS) is a prestigious, non-profit educational institution founded in 1966. The school's motto is "Knowledge, Character, and Service," and it offers a comprehensive student-centered program for Grades 4 to 12. GBS is a selective co-educational boarding school that focuses on diversity, inclusivity, and the integration of all cultures, religions, values, and languages.
Inquiry-Based Curriculum and Multilingual Instruction
GBS has a well-rounded, student-centered program that features an inquiry-based, concept-driven curriculum. Opportunities for Extra-Curricular Activities
GBS encourages students to explore their talents in athletics, academics, art, and creative work. The school sponsors various clubs such as Health and Sanitation, Handwriting, and English that can foster their potential. Additionally, the school has seven academic departments and seven administrative sections that team up to work for better outputs. The ICT Building and swimming pool are two of the newest facilities added to the school.

Scholarship Provision:
As it is a non-profit making institution, the objective of the school is to provide quality education at an affordable cost. The school has been providing scholarship facilities to 20 – 25% of students, who are underprivileged, marginalized, backward, and who are from remote areas and so-called low castes. Such scholarship ranges from class 4 to class 12 and college level as well.
These students are given facilities as per their categories. They adjust themselves to the motto of Knowledge, Character, and Service.
A-Level Program at GBS:
GBS introduced Cambridge University O-Levels in 1990 GCE A Level commenced in 2010. students are selected on the basis of the results of the Entrance Examinations which take place in June. All students are offered the following subjects: AS: General Paper, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology/Computer A2: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer, Math.
