Overview
Florida International Boarding Secondary School (FIBSS) was established in 2000 AD (2057 BS) as a privately owned academic institution by a team of education enthusiasts. It is located in Bhimdatta Municipality-18 Janaki Tole, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, Sudurpaschim Province of Nepal. FIBSS is affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU) and National Examinations Board (NEB). It is approved by the Ministry of Education and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Nepal.
FIBSS offers nursery to class 10, NEB +2 programs in Science, Management and Humanities, TU Bachelor's program in Management (Bachelor of Business Studies -BBS).
The sole aim of the FIBSS is to raise the quality of education in the Far-Western Province (Sudurpaschim Pradesh). This school focuses on preparing competent and trustworthy students for facing each challenge in their real life. The top academic standard is a priority of the FIBSS and achieved through dedicated services of a team of highly qualified and experienced staff. Students demonstrate their ability in different games like basketball, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, badminton etc.
FIBSS has well-equipped science lab for Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, resourceful library with reference materials, newspapers, magazines and periodical journals, Multimedia, Transportation, Counselling, Conference, Scholarships, Hi-Tech computer lab, hostel facilities, Cafeteria, Healthcare, Internet and well-furnished classrooms.
