Diwakar Memorial Polytechnic Institute

Diwakar Memorial Polytechnic Institute (DMPI) (दिवाकर स्मृति बहुप्राविधिक शिक्षालय, माडी, चितवन) was established in 2019 and is one of the pioneering technical and vocational institutes functioning under the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). The institute was founded with the goal of producing skilled workforces in various fields such as Engineering, Agriculture, and the Health sector.

Established in 2075 B.S. at Madi Municipality-6, Harinagar, Chitwan, DMPI aims to produce skilled and competent human resources through quality teaching and extension activities. These efforts contribute to uplifting the socio-economic status of the Nepalese people. DMPI is a comprehensive and co-educational school that consistently meets its motto of developing and grooming the necessary skill sets to make students competent and productive human resources for the future of the nation.

Current Programs: DMPI currently runs three diploma-level programs: Diploma in Animal Science, Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Pharmacy.

The institute is committed to improving its infrastructural and laboratory facilities and maintaining a better working environment for faculty members, administrative staff, and students.

• Offer education with various extracurricular activities to develop the physical and mental personality of children.
• Focus on the education of children from conflict-affected families, martyr families, marginalized castes, Dalits, and indigenous communities.
• Take initiative and lead in the improvement and quality development of neighboring educational institutions.

• Develop alternative teaching systems.

Location

Diwakar Memorial Polytechnic Institute is located in Madi, Municipality-6, Chitwan, at coordinates 27°27’31” N and 84°20’37” E, at an elevation of 180 meters above sea level. In 2019, it was honored as the Model School of Province 3, Nepal.
