Overview
Dhurkot Multiple Campus was established in 2009 AD (2065 BS) as a community owned campus situated in Bastu, Dhurkot, Gulmi, Lumbini Zone, and Western Development Region of Nepal. The campus was established in this remote rural area to provide higher education to the poor, oppressed and disadvantaged students. In the leadership of Parmananda Bhandari and Rudarmani Sharma Bhandari, the education lover, social, humanist people of this area have contributed donations, labour, charity and other assists to establish this institutions. It is community based campus and has been registered under Nepal Public campus organization.
It is affiliated to Tribhuvan University and approved by University Grants Commission of Nepal. It offers Arts and Education faculties’ Bachelor level programs such as Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). This campus also provides scholarship facility for economically and socially backward students from local community. This Campus is also known as Dhurkot Parmanada Bhandari Multiple Campus.
