Admission Procedure and Criteria
Admission Procedure for +2 Program
For admission to the +2 program in Science or Management at Columbus College, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

- Students should have obtained at least a B Grade in the SEE examinations.
- Students must score a minimum of 50% in the entrance examinations.
- Prior to enrollment, eligible students are required to sit for an entrance test, which will cover the following subjects:
- English: 30%
- Science: 30%
- General Knowledge / IQ: 10%
- General Knowledge / IQ: 10%
+2 Admission Eligibility for Management
- Students should have obtained at least a B Grade in the SEE examinations.
- Students must score a minimum of 50% in the entrance examinations.
- Prior to enrollment, eligible students are required to sit for an entrance test, which will cover the following subjects:
- English: 30%
- Science: 30%
- General Knowledge / IQ: 10%
Eligibility Criteria for BBS Program
Students aspiring to apply for the Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) program at Columbus College must fulfill the following requirements:
- Successful completion of the 10+2 level in business/commerce or an equivalent course from a recognized institution, such as HSEB (Higher Secondary Education Board) or Tribhuvan University (TU), or from other universities or boards recognized by TU.
- Students from other faculties like Science and Arts who wish to join the BBS program must have studied mathematics or economics as a full paper at the intermediate level (10+2) program.
- Students must have studied English as a full paper at the plus two level or an equivalent program.
- The minimum marks required at the intermediate level will be determined by the Faculty Board or the concerned campus. However, government colleges generally do not have stringent criteria for enrollment in the BBS program.
- Some colleges may conduct an entrance exam, and students are selected based on merit.
