Overview
Central Ayurveda Vidyapeetha was established in 2012 AD (2069 BS) as a constituent campus (Central Ayurved Campus) of Nepal Sanskrit University, Institute of Ayurved, located inBeljhundi, Bijauri, Dang, Nepal. It is accredited by Nepal Ayurvedic Medical Council (NAMC). Central Ayurveda Vidyapeetha is one of the prominent campus that offers 66 months of full-time Ayurvedic programs such as Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS).
The BAMS program makes capable the learners to be competent, providing Ayurveda health care services in Nepal, and identifying and managing health institutions. After the achievement of this BAMS degree, doctors will have incorporated knowledge of Ayurveda, Allopathic, Yoga, Naturopathy, etc. This campus also provides scholarship facilities for deserving, economically and socially backward students.
Central Ayurveda Vidyapeeth located in Beljhundi under Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city of Dang district under Lumwini province is a branch university of Nepal Sanskrit University. After the establishment of the Ayurveda Study Institute in the year 2067, Central Ayurveda Vidyapeeth was established in the Janata Vidyapeeth campus of Dang with the aim of producing skilled manpower by conducting high-level studies in Ayurveda, Yoga, and Natural Medicine, etc.
After the establishment of Central Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, in the year 2073, the 118-room building was moved from the central office of Nepal Sanskrit University to the east.
