Overview
Birendra Multiple Campus, Chitwan Established on 1st Baishakh, 2022 BS (1965 AD), was initially named "Birendra Intermediate Arts College" in honor of the late King Birendra. The campus was established to meet the growing need for higher education in Chitwan after it was opened for settlement in 2011 BS. Despite facing several difficulties in its early stages, including operating from rented spaces, the campus persevered and received 10 Bighas of land from GoN in 2028. It finally shifted to its own building in 2032, where it inaugurated Bachelor level courses in 2035, becoming the first multiple campus in Chitwan district. From 2045 onwards, it continued to expand its academic programs, adding different courses in Bachelor and Master's levels.

Birendra Multiple Campus aspires to be one of the leading campuses in the nation, emphasizing academic excellence, ethical leadership, and responsible citizenship. Its mission is to educate students for responsible citizenship and ethical leadership in local and global communities, empowering graduates to pursue meaningful lives and productive careers. Its goal is to be a physically well-equipped and academically excellent center with an advanced research hub.
Objectives
The campus has several objectives, including promoting quality education under Tribhuvan University (TU), encouraging academic and research activities for students and teachers, managing viable income-generating programs, and managing the physical properties of the campus.
