Overview
Bhanubhakta Memorial College (Bhanubhakta Memorial Secondary School) was established in 1967 A.D. (2024 BS) in the name of the late national poet, Bhanubhakta Acharya. It is affiliated with the National Examinations Board (NEB) for Ten Plus Two programs and with Tribhuvan University (TU) for Bachelor-level programs. The Ministry of Education also approves it.
BMC offers Ten Plus Two programs in Management, Science, and Humanities. It also offers bachelor's degree programs, such as the Bachelor of Business Studies.
Bhanubhakta Memorial College (BMC) is located in Panipokhari (Opposite the Japanese Embassy), Lazimpat, Kathmandu, Nepal. Admission Guideline for 10+2 Students
Students who have completed the SEE or equivalent examination under a recognized board will be asked to take the Entrance Examination conducted by NEF.
Admission will be based on the aggregate SEE and Entrance Examination scores and interview performance. Students' admission will commence immediately after the SEE results are published.
Eligibility
Class XI Science/commerce/Hotel Management
The candidate should have passed the SEE examination or an equivalent examination under a recognized Board
To qualify for the Science courses, the candidate should have:
* taken Optional Mathematics for the SEE examination
* a minimum score of 210 in science, compulsory mathematics, and English
To qualify for the commerce/hotel management course, the candidate should have
* A minimum score of 120 in compulsory Mathematics and English.
NOTE

Students with the above marks can apply for admission to NEF colleges, namely Bhanubhakta, Little Angles, and Xavier Academy. However, possessing these alone will not guarantee admission.

Students will have to pass the college Entrance Examination and then be able to do well enough in the interview to get into the Merit List to be published by the college.

Students whose names appear on the Merit List will be admitted to the college in order of merit, depending on the seats available.
Awards at Bhanubhakta Memorial College

The Term Topper Award is another award given to the Class Topper of each class in the Terminal Examinations. The award winner will receive a three-month full scholarship to encourage and motivate the students to perform better.
