Bajrabarahi Secondary School (BBSS) was founded in 1955 A.D. (2012 B.S.) as a community-based educational institution in Chapagaun, Lalitpur, Nepal. In the 2064/065 B.S. academic session, Bajrabarahi Secondary School expanded its educational offerings by introducing the +2 programs in Science and Management. This significant development was in response to the growing demand for higher secondary education within the community, particularly in the Science stream. BBSS is the first community school in Lalitpur to introduce a Science program at the +2 level, reflecting its commitment to meeting public needs and advancing educational standards.

BBSS offers the following courses under the Ten Plus Two (10+2) program:

Ten Plus Two (+2) Humanities

Humanities is also the subject students love the most. This subject leads to jobs as a social worker, rural development, police sociology, and many other fields needed for development projects. It also leads to jobs as a journalist, lawyer, mass communication, and other social platforms and activities. This subject provides jobs in NGOs, INGO, the UN, and other social organizations.

Eligibility:

1. Grade Sheet of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) with at least GPA 1.6 in aggregate from SEE board.

2. Must have minimum Grade D+ in all Subjects.

Ten Plus Two (10+2) Management

Management is another interesting subject that most students prefer. About 70% of SEE students each year take management because it is an easy and interesting subject. This subject mostly deals with the management of business, etc. This subject leads to hotel management. Management leads to great businessmen, business admin, charter accountants, finance, and many more. This is the most widely scoped subject in the world.

Eligibility:

1. Grade Sheet of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) with at least GPA 1.6 in aggregate from SEE board.

2. Must have minimum Grade D+ in all Subjects.

Ten Plus Two (10+2) Science

Students mostly prefer the science stream. This subject includes physics, chemistry, biology, math, English, and computer. This is the most interesting and hardest stream. Most students find it hard, but it is the easiest if you work hard, are interested, and study properly. This subject leads to careers as scientists, doctors, engineers, pilots, information technology professionals, and other science-related subjects.

Eligibility:

1. Grade sheet of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) with Opt. Mathematics scoring at least a GPA of 2.8 in aggregate from SEE board Nepal only.

2. Must have minimum Grade B in C. English, C Science, C Math, and Opt. Mathematics in SEE.

3. Must have a minimum Grade C + in the remaining subjects in SEE.

Admission:

To get admission, you must bring a mark sheet of SEE and a character certificate with a duly filled application.
