Active Academy College (AAC) was established in 2000 A.D. by an enthusiastic team of academicians and is located in Basundhara, Kathmandu, Nepal. Active Academy is affiliated with Tribhuvan University (T.U.), Nepal Sanskrit University, and the National Examinations Board (NEB). It offers courses like BBS, BBA, BSW, B.Ed, MA, and MBS along with Ten Plus Two Programs like Science, Management, Humanities, Law, and Education. It aims to create a new opportunity for youth to get a market-oriented education in Nepal.

Active Academy, a labor of love founded by Dr. Gopi Lal Neupane, the institution's principal, started with four students and nine full-time staff members. It has grown significantly over the past 20 years, boasting 1,600 students and 106 teaching and non-teaching staff members.
