Overview
Andhikhola Polytechnic Institute (API - आँधीखोला बहुप्राविधिक शिक्षालय) is a community-owned technical academic institute located in Aandhikhola, Syangja district, Gandaki Province of Nepal. The school was established in 2075 BS (2018 AD) with the aim of developing the skills of Nepali youth entering the labor market from the surrounding areas of Syangja district through technical education and vocational training programs.
Affiliation and Diploma Programs:
API is one of the institutions constituted by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). The technical school offers Diploma level programs under the engineering stream such as Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) for 40 seats each year. The three-year duration programs enable students to acquire skills in the field of agriculture. The Diploma in Information Technology program, which is also a three-year program, is being conducted at the school. The program started with a short-term (390 hours) training program based on the curriculum of the CTEVT at five different local levels in the Syangja district. Other short- and long-term programs based on local demand will be added in the future.

The school's mission is to operate technical education and professional training programs based on industrial needs using green and clean technology. API's goal is to enhance academic excellence to ensure 80% employability of graduates by providing quality education and training by 2023.

API provides technical education with moderate and affordable fee structures. It also offers scholarship schemes for deserving, hardworking, and underprivileged students of the society. The school provides classrooms, science labs, computer labs, multimedia, counseling, extra-curricular activities (ECA), sports, counseling, conference, excursion educational tours, and scholarships facilities.
