Income tax is a direct tax on any person's income. The Income Tax Act and the Income Tax Regulations are directed at the income tax applicable in Nepal. After doing business, employment or any income, we have to pay taxes to the government in some way. If for some reason you simply do not pay taxes, you may incur government proceedings and penalties.
Every year, the government is modifying the tax levy from the people who earn income. Accordingly, the government has fixed the income tax rate for Fiscal Year 2076/77. The fixed tax will be applicable from 17th July 2019.
