1) Step 1:
(A)Preliminary Health Examination Examination: To be taken in accordance with Schedule 6 of the General Principles to be adopted while appointing and promoting to the post of Police Service.
(B) Physical Fitness Test:

Note:
- The score of the physical fitness test will be as per appendix (a).
- Candidates who fail in any event will not be allowed to participate in the event after that.
2) The second stage
Detailed health examination: General Principles to be adopted while appointing and promoting to the post of Police Service, to be taken by the Medical Team of Nepal Police as per Schedule-8 of 2069 BS.
3) The third stage
The course of written examination: The syllabus of the written examination for the post of Police Jawan (District) is based on the syllabus of class VIII of the community school keeping in view the minimum qualifications as provided in Chapter 3 and (b) of the Police Regulations, 2071 (with amendments).
