
Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya Surkhet, Mangalgadhi, Surkhet, Notice Regarding New Student Admission in Class 6
Applications are invited for admission to Class 6 for the upcoming academic session 2082 at Sainik Residential College, Mangalgadhi, Surkhet. The college provides education in English medium in a disciplined environment. Sons/daughters of Nepal Army personnel (both serving and retired) and non-military persons can apply. Application forms can be obtained from the college office on payment of the prescribed fee except on public holidays.
Minimum Qualifications for Admission:

Must have passed Class 5 in academic session 2081 from a school recognized by the Government of Nepal with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or minimum C+ grade or GPA 2.4 in annual/half-yearly/second quarterly examination, having passed all subjects.

Age: Must not exceed 12 years as of Baisakh 1, 2082.

Must pass the written entrance examination conducted by the college and be selected for the second phase according to merit, and must also pass the interview and basic health examination.
Documents to be Submitted:

Certified copy of Class 5 marksheet/gradesheet of annual/half-yearly/second quarterly examination of 2081

One copy of character certificate mentioning the student's age

Two copies of birth registration certificate certified by local registrar

Recent photographs - 2 copies (passport size - 1 and auto size - 1)

For children of serving military personnel: Original recommendation letter from the respective unit commander mentioning the child's date of birth; and for children of ex-military personnel: Copy of pension certificate - 1
Other Information:
Candidates selected for admission after passing the final entrance examination must submit certificates of passing the relevant class (character certificate and gradesheet) to the examination section of the college before admission. IEMIS Transfer is also mandatory.
The policy of "one couple, one child, one level" applies for military personnel and staff quota. If one beneficiary has studied at one level with rank-based concession, a second child will not be given concession at the same level. However, they may be given an opportunity to study by paying full fees like non-military (open group) students.
Provisions have been made according to rules for children of military personnel who died in service, those mentioned as eligible for benefits in the rules, and children with disabilities. Those interested in admission can also register forms.
